Description
Mental health conditions can affect individuals of any age, gender, or background. Increasing numbers of children and young people are being diagnosed with mental health difficulties. Anyone who works with or supports children is therefore likely to encounter a child experiencing challenges.
This course provides a comprehensive understanding of child mental health. It covers common emotional, behavioural, and hyperkinetic disorders, and explains how to recognise signs of difficulty, provide appropriate support, and promote positive wellbeing. By the end of the training, you will feel confident in your ability to identify concerns and respond effectively.
